A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made his way onto the transfer radar of Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain.

This comes amid the understanding that the French champions are eyeing a deal for Fermín López.

Attacking midfielder Fermín is of course in the midst of what has been a productive opening to the campaign to date. Having seemingly beaten out Dani Olmo to first-choice status in Hansi Flick’s XI, the 23-year-old has racked up 12 appearances all told.

And along the way, Fermín has chipped in with an impressive nine direct goal contributions.

Such exploits have not gone at all unnoticed across the continent, with the Spanish international understood to be drawing transfer interest from some of European football’s most high-profile clubs.

And as alluded to above, one such outfit, namely PSG, appear ready to ramp up their interest over the months ahead. As per a report from Fichajes , citing transfer journalist Ekrem Konur:

‘Paris Saint-Germain are preparing an offer to negotiate Fermín’s transfer.’

The board at the Parc des Princes have snapped up two players from the Camp Nou already this year, in the form of Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández, and Ferran Torres.
