Karim Adeyemi names his Barcelona idols

New Barcelona signing Karim Adeyemi has on Thursday revealed his idols to have previously donned the colours of the Blaugrana.

And the club’s fanbase will no doubt fully approve of both choices…

Frontman Adeyemi is of course fresh off being unveiled as the latest addition to Hansi Flick’s squad. After a lengthy wait for an official statement to be released following his arrival in Catalunya’s capital last week, the 24-year-old’s dream move has finally come to fruition.

Adeyemi joins a long line of talented attackers to call themselves Barcelona players, a list which includes some of the standout names in the history of football.

And drawn on his own personal Blaugrana icons during his introduction in front of the media earlier today, the German highlighted the names of two such players.

During an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Adeyemi explained:

“For me, the best player of all time is Lionel Messi. It’s always been Messi. I also loved watching Ronaldinho a lot, who was an exceptional player.

“And of course, there are tons of other great players who have worn the jersey of this incredible club.”
