Exclusive | Auxerre’s Lassine Sinayoko keen on Premier League move
2
Lassine Sinayoko (26) is the subject of a thorough enquiry from a Premier League club, Get French Football News understands, and the Mali international is keen to make the move to England, despite interest from elsewhere.
Sinayoko, who has come through the ranks at AJ Auxerre, has excelled over the course of the past two seasons. His performances in the 2024/25 season almost earned him a move away, amid significant interest from OGC Nice and RC Lens, most notably. However, L’AJA opted to retain the forward. It is a decision that paid off. He netted 12 goals in 32 league appearances last season, with his brace against Nice on the penultimate day of the season ultimately ensuring the club’s safety.
An exit is expected this summer, however. There is strong interest from the Premier League, GFFN understands. We also understand that Sinayoko has set his sights on a move to England, despite interest from other clubs in Europe’s top five leagues.
