Aleix García latest Leverkusen star linked with Atlético Madrid

Aleix García is the third Bayer Leverkusen player to be linked with Atlético Madrid in recent days.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen midfielder Aleix García has been placed on Atlético Madrid’s summer transfer shortlist, according to AS.

The Spanish outlet suggests that an offer in the region of €25 million could be enough to convince Die Werkself to sell the 28-year-old, three years before his contract expires.

Leverkusen reportedly paid €18 million to sign García from Girona two years ago, and he has since established himself as a key figure in the middle of the park for the Bundesliga side.

In addition to García, two other Leverkusen players – Ibrahim Maza and Alejandro Grimaldo – have also been linked with Atlético Madrid recently.
