HSV striker set for Wolfsburg switch

VfL Wolfsburg are said to have agreed a deal to sign Robert Glatzel from Hamburger SV.

Robert Glatzel is set to join VfL Wolfsburg from Hamburger SV, according to Sky Germany.

The German outlet reports that the two clubs have agreed a transfer fee of €1.5 million.

Glatzel’s medical has been scheduled for next week after he agreed terms with Wolfsburg on a contract running until 2028.

Die Wölfe will hope the experienced striker can chip in with valuable goals as they look to fight their way back to the top flight following relegation from the Bundesliga.

The 32-year-old forward has scored an impressive 84 goals in 150 appearances for HSV.
