Ajax and AS Monaco are reported to have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Caio Henrique (28) to the Amsterdam club, according to information from Foot Mercato.

Although his contract with the Principality club runs until June 2027, the Brazilian full-back is expected to join the Eredivisie shortly for a fee of between €9 and €10 million. Bonuses could also be added to the deal.

Having joined ASM from La Liga’s Atlético Madrid in the summer of 2020, Henrique has established himself as a key player in the French league and has even earned five caps for Brazil, despite injury setbacks that have undoubtedly prevented him from reaching his full potential.

Appearing in 34 matches during the 2025-26 season, he started 29 of them and provided two assists. In total, the Santos-born player has made over 210 appearances for the Monegasques, proving decisive on 44 occasions (three goals, 41 assists).
