Former Borussia Dortmund boss Sebastian Kehl linked with AC Milan role

Former Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl is being linked with a job at AC Milan.

The 43-year-old is named by Gazzetta dello Sport as a candidate to take over the vacant sporting director position at the Serie A club.

Other reported candidates include Flamengo technical director José Boto, Devin Özek, who most recently worked as sporting director at Fenerbahçe, and Jason Ayto, who recently left his role at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Eintracht Frankfurt board member for sport Markus Krösche was recently linked with the job, but opted to remain at the Bundesliga side.

Kehl was relieved of his duties as Borussia Dortmund sporting director in March.
