Bayer Leverkusen has officially extended the contract of Francis Onyeka on a long-term basis the summer of June 2032.
At the same time, the Leverkusen academy star will move again on loan for one year to newly promoted Bundesliga side SV 07 Elversberg.
"We are delighted that Francis Onyeka has so firmly committed to Bayer 04 Leverkusen with this long-term contract extension.
"He is a fantastic talent who has been making his way at our club for many years and should continue to do so," said sporting director Simon Rolfes.
Onyeka, a native of Gummersbach, has been playing for the Rhineland club's youth teams since the ripe age of seven.
From the summer of 2025, he took his first very successful steps in professional football in Bochum, gaining the more match experience.
During that campaign with the Rhurpott side, the 19-year-old played 30 games in the second division and produced 8 goals.
