Liverpool hold new talks over possible Eichhorn signing

Sky Germany report that Liverpool are still working hard to sign Hertha BSC wonderkid Kennet Eichhorn.

Liverpool remain highly interested in Hertha BSC midfielder Kennet Eichhorn, according to Sky Germany.

The German outlet reports that the Reds are “continuing to push hard” for the 16-year-old youngster, with new talks having taken place within the last couple of days.

As Eichhorn is not eligible to play in England until he turns 18, he would likely be sent out on loan if Liverpool were to sign him, with Bayer Leverkusen mentioned as a potential destination.

It has been reported that both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have recently pulled out of the race to sign the 16-year-old midfielder due to his signing fee demands. However, according to Sky, Dortmund remain in contention.
