Incoming Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has already given his full backing to the club’s pursuit of departing Liverpool star Ibrahima Konaté.
This of course comes as the Frenchman prepares to take his talents to Spain’s capital.
The name of defender Konaté has dominated the headlines at Real Madrid across the day to date. After word was recently forthcoming that the 27-year-old had made the call to depart the aforementioned Liverpool upon the expiration of his contract, Los Blancos sprung into action.
Kicking negotiations back into gear with Konaté and his entourage, Florentino Pérez and co. quickly found an agreement on the terms of a four-year contract.
