According to sources at Sky Germany, Borussia Mönchengladbach have their eye on SV Darmstadt 98 talisman Isac Lidberg.
The Rhineland club have reportedly already contacted the 27-year-old and Darmstadt regarding a transfer this summer.
Whether these efforts from the Bundesliga club to sign the striker will ultimately be successful remains to be seen.
The three-time Swedish international scored 17 goals in 30 games in the recently concluded second division season.
Lidberg's contract in Darmstadt expires in 2027 – which puts the club under considerable pressure to sell him.
The Hessen side from the second division have already lost another marksman in Frasier Hornby who has joined VfL Wolfsburg.
Although Haris Tabakovic is unlikely to return to Gladbach, Lidberg could face stuff competition for a starting spot with Tim Kleindienst present.
