Release clause could give Kaminski a fast route out of FC Köln

A release clause fee of €20million is supposedly set to be a part of Kaminski's deal should he sign permanently for Köln.

Despite Thomas Kessler pledging to sign Jakub Kaminski permanently in summer, the winger could be set for a quick departure from 1.FC Köln.

As reported by Kicker.de this afternoon, 21 April, the Polish star's new contract includes a release clause of "more than €20million".

According to the magazine, numerous clubs are already interested in Kaminski, therefore, he could move on in just a few months.

Kaminski recently claimed he is happy in the Cathedral City, but should a club be activate his release clause, Köln's hands would be tied.

After 30 appearances, Kaminski has seven goals and five assists, making him the second-highest scorer for the Rhineland club.

He is currently level with striker Ragnar Ache and behind 19-year-old sensation Said El Mala with 11 goals and 4 assists.
