AC Milan, Inter and Brighton show interest in Werder goalkeeper Mio Backhaus

Sky Germany reports that AC Milan, Inter Milan and Brighton & Hove Albion are all monitoring Werder Bremen goalkeeper Mio Backhaus.

Mio Backhaus has attracted interest from several clubs both in Germany and abroad, according to Sky Germany.

The outlet reports that AC Milan and Inter have made enquiries about the 22-year-old goalkeeper, with Brighton & Hove Albion also interested in him.

SC Freiburg have previously been mentioned as a possible destination for Backhaus, whose contract with Werder Bremen runs until 2028.

Backhaus has made 28 appearances for the Green-Whites in his first season as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
