Solid Real Betis Blank Elche in 0-2 Win

AllScores

Real Betis extended their strong away form with a composed 0-2 victory over Elche in LaLiga Round 12 at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero in Elche on 8 November 2026. Under partly cloudy skies and mild 20-degree conditions, both sides cancelled each other out through a cagey opening hour, with the home side's goalkeeper Matías Dituro keeping Elche level with a string of saves. The deadlock was finally broken in the 81st minute when substitute Rodrigo Riquelme struck, before veteran defender Marc Bartra sealed the points with a header eight minutes later. Betis keeper Álvaro Vallés and centre-back Marc Bartra were both influential, and Bartra's all-round display earned him the Player of the Match award as Elche were left to rue their inability to convert possession into clear chances.
